Data We Collect

When you create a free account we collect your email address, chosen public username, and authentication metadata (sign-up date, last sign-in, email verification status). We also store data you create in the product: watchlist entries, portfolio positions, alert thresholds, and community fact-check inputs.

How We Use It

We use your data to authenticate you, deliver the dispatch and alert emails you enable, display your public username alongside your community inputs, and improve product quality. We do not sell your personal data.

Public vs. Private Information

Your username and any community fact-check note you post are public. Your email address, portfolio holdings, and alert settings are private and readable only by you and platform administrators.

Storage & Security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies restricting access to your own records. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting support. Deleting your account removes your private records; public community inputs may be retained in anonymized form.
